The TAO Of Daniel: EVERYTHING

What does a person truly desire? What does every human being inevitably seek?

Often our answers to these questions imply a limited set of beliefs. Oh how we are afraid of our powers…

A Taoist’s life, instead, reeks of abundance: abundance of friendships, of opportunities, of creative expression, of sunsets, of silence, of money, of sweet moments of presence.

Everything means exactly that - everything!

Or ‘the everything of everything’ as we might also call it…

Tao is not selective; it does not ration or self-manage for the sake of piety or some other kind of spiritual discipline. Tao, instead, emphasises the necessity for change, for variety, for growth, as well as their opposites.

There is no consistency without change. There is no consolidation without also growth. As soon as a single grain of ‘Tao’ is restricted then the entire bowl appears vacant or incomplete.

Life’s feast cannot be consumed without all necessary details.

It’s really that simple…
