The TAO Of Daniel: TRUTH

The Tao knows nothing - it’s been said time and time again.

The words of the Tao te Ching, and of the Daniel, are pointless in a sense. They can never express real truth. And yet it is true that all things are lost, are impermanent and have no meaning in and of themselves only.

So what does it mean to bravely attempt an act of apparent truth? To write a book, make a movie, share a poem, compose a song, create a painting…

In practicing failure, time and time again, we might inch closer to that thing of truth.

And without such a practice? Truth escapes us all the same…

Either way, this life of ours is an impossible, never-ending quest. So why not make and decide a truth for yourself? Even if it IS flawed. Even if it IS temporary.

It is human nature, perhaps, to do so. Why else would this world of ours be filled with such curious, courageous and creative humans, if not to fail at enjoying and enjoy failing?

Truth anyhow is JUST a word. Without concepts related to such perfect (or ‘correct’) manners of doing things then such issues need not even exist!

So what if ‘truth’ was an illusion and the Tao was right when it declared complete cluelessness through its words?

Do you dare to follow this way of passionate failure, of uninterrupted movement and of sweet poetic half-truths whispered endlessly into the cosmos?

And most importantly… do we even have a choice?!
