This is a blog for all those lonely souls out there… or for those ordinary souls having lonely days just like mine was today.

Let’s start with some confessions:

> I sometimes forget that the world does not revolve around me

> I sometimes think that I can conquer every challenge, every difficulty, every emotion, on my own

> I sometimes think that I’m special, gifted, brilliant… even a GENIUS

The truth is, however: I’m a pretty damn ordinary human being… so ordinary (as an old teacher of mine used to say) that I’m an extra-ordinary!

You too are extra-ordinary. You must be, because I’m quite sure that we all are…

So what to do with all this ordinariness? How can we feel good, special, powerful, alive if such a simple, basic existence is all we have to look forward to?

The answer: RELATE.

The real question actually is - have you ever truly enjoyed ANYTHING without it being shared in some sense? Do we not all need that mirror in order to give meaning to any and every aspect of our lives?

I suspect we most certainly do.

So you’re gonna take advice from such a lonely nerd as I? Well, maybe you can try at least, as this blog is sort of about giving 'guidance for life’ after all… all be it in a very PARADOXICAL kind of way.

When I’m relating WELL, I generally do the following rather WELL:

  • I have a clear role / responsibility in the relationship

  • I have enough space and time to honour the relationship

  • I am rested and physically well enough to show up fully for the meeting/connection

  • I share my feelings and emotions as needed!

  • I am spontaneous and instinctive with my actions… allowing magical reality to take us somewhere new and exciting.

  • I am financially abundant! (I’ve been poor enough many times to understand the limitations of it)

Do you relate truly to your partner? Your family? Your friends? Might you do some or many of these things better?

Be honest with yourself… if you’re not feeling healthy, happy and strong in your day to day life, chances are you may just not be RELATING well enough.

Simple.

Enough from me today… It’s been great to relate with you all in this way at least. Let’s make tomorrow a feast of fun, frolics and friendship!

Amen to that.
